The Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to work closely with development teams to build, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. This is a hands-on role focused on enabling fast, reliable delivery of applications running on OpenShift/Kubernetes, with strong ownership of CI/CD and release processes.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage CI/CD pipelines end-to-end (design, implementation, maintenance)
Work directly with development teams to integrate build, test, and deployment processes
Package and deploy applications using Helm on OpenShift / Kubernetes
Build and maintain containerised applications using Docker
Support and optimise Spring Cloud-based microservices deployments
Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues
Improve deployment speed, reliability, and rollback strategies
Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting
Drive best practices around CI/CD, versioning, and release management
Maintain clear technical documentation
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines
Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes
Strong experience with Helm (chart development, templating, lifecycle management)
Solid experience with Docker and containerisation
Good understanding of Spring Cloud ecosystem
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
Experience debugging issues across pipelines, containers, and cluster environments
Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Familiarity with Java and Spring Cloud (useful for working closely with development teams)
