Overview

Zinkworks is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions across complex enterprise environments. This role will play a key part in shaping architecture across GCP, AI/ML, and data platforms, ensuring alignment with business and technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-native platforms.

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture designs.

• Provide leadership across engineering teams, ensuring architectural best practices.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across AI/ML, data, DevOps, and QA teams.

• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and governance.

• Drive adoption of modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless).

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments.

• Strong experience with GCP and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.

• Strong understanding of data platforms, APIs, and integration patterns.

• Ability to lead architectural discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience delivering solutions across large-scale cloud transformation programmes.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with AI/ML or GenAI-driven systems.

• Familiarity with telecommunications or large-scale data platforms.

• Knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
