About the Role
Zinkworks is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to build and sustain our organisational capability as we continue to grow.
This role is not focused on delivering training. Instead, you will shape how Learning, Professionalism and Teamwork are embedded as practical, repeatable ways of working across the organisation—supporting consistency, quality and long-term performance.
You will work closely with engineering, delivery, operations and technical leaders to ensure capability is developed, reinforced and renewed over time. What You’ll Do
Identify where organisational capability is fragile, inconsistent or missing
Design system-level approaches that address root causes
Simplify or retire initiatives that don’t meaningfully improve practice
Learning
Design and steward learning systems that support real work, including onboarding, role transitions, standards adoption and professional growth
Apply practical, evidence-informed learning approaches that respect delivery pressures
Reduce reliance on ad-hoc learning by making expectations, pathways and exemplars clear
Professionalism
Support the definition and consistent adoption of professional standards across teams and accounts
Work with leaders to clarify expectations around quality, delivery and conduct
Enable structured learning from experience, including reflection and continuous improvement practices
Teamwork
Establish and support communities of practice across roles and disciplines
Enable peer learning and knowledge exchange between teams and accounts
Help ensure collaboration produces tangible improvements to delivery outcomes
Experience & Background
Significant experience in learning, organisational development or capability-focused roles
Credibility working with senior technical and delivery leaders
Experience in complex, delivery-oriented environments
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving organisational needs
