What we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced and proficient Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in manual testing, test automation,  cloud computing, and REST-based microservice applications. As a key member of our QA team, you will lead the testing efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet our customers' expectations.  

Responsibilities:  

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for manual and automated testing.

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

• Perform thorough functional, regression, and integration testing to validate software changes and enhancements.

• Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under various load conditions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios and ensure adequate test coverage for REST-based microservice applications.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the QA team.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.

• Leverage telco industry experience to address specific testing challenges and requirements.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in cloud computing and microservices architecture.

Required Experience  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing, test automation.

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

• Extensive experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

• Strong understanding of REST-based microservice architectures and APIs.

• Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to lead and mentor junior QA engineers.

• Relevant certifications in software testing or cloud computing are desirable.
