Job Summary

Zinkworks is seeking a highly skilled IMS QA Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IMS feature & functionality testing, SIP protocol validation, and test automation. This role requires expertise in IMS call flows, VoIP, video calling, multimedia applications, and interoperability testing. Key Responsibilities

• IMS Architecture: Strong familiarity with the IMS ecosystem, including proficiency in testing IMS core network elements.
• IMS Services Testing: Extensive experience in IMS feature & functionality testing, including session management, registration, and media handling. In-depth understanding of IMS call flows & procedures with expertise in end-to-end testing of IMS services such as VoIP, video calling, and multimedia applications.
• Test Case Creation & Execution: Design, write, and execute feature & functional test cases for IMS services & SIP protocol.
• Interoperability Testing: Conduct interoperability tests between IMS and legacy systems such as PSTN to ensure seamless communication.
• SIP Protocol Testing: Advanced knowledge of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) for signaling & session management. Troubleshoot and debug SIP messages & call flows, with the ability to design & execute SIP protocol test cases.
• Test Automation: Strong skills in automating test cases using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet. Experience integrating test automation tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of security protocols & best practices for IMS & SIP, including experience in vulnerability assessment & penetration testing.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystems) testing & validation.
• Advanced expertise in IMS call flows (registration, session control, and media handling).
• Strong understanding of SIP message structures, methods, headers, and response codes.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot SIP signaling issues and optimize network performance.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks with hands-on experience using Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
• Experience working with Tier 1 telecommunications providers.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based IMS testing solutions.
• Knowledge of telecom security compliance & risk management.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
